Bilberry Lodge is NEW for 2013 and is a Scandinavian inspired quirky, wooden cabin built right here in Derbyshire from sustainable Scandinavian wood sources. We are sure you are going to love it- either as a holiday retreat in its own right with fairy lights, candles, rustic furniture and a cosy double bed with featherdown duvets and luxury cotton bedding- not to mention the amazing log burning range cooker that will keep you warm and toasty as well as radiate a romantic glow and cook you a mouthwatering meal.

Prices are £295 for a 3 night weekend break or £295 for 1 4 night midweek. The price includes fuel for the log burning stove, luxury bed linen and towels, a welcome breakfast hamper of local produce, private composting loo, use of the luxury washrooms and the wood fired hot tub.

Secret Cloud House Holidays is home to three, lovely yurts. The site has been carefully planned to ensure you have lovely views across open countryside and yet also remains private. Each yurt has its own outdoor seating, composting toilet, log store and BBQ. You can sit and enjoy being so close to nature; the only disturbance being birdsong or a nosy Hebridean sheep.

Our Blackberry, Rosehip and Elderflower yurts have been thoughtfully decorated with subtle hints of the hedgerow colours and we surround our guests with little touches of luxury- Egyptian cotton bedding, gorgeously snug featherdown duvets and pillows, fluffy towels, toiletries handmade with love in Derbyshire, Staffordshire wool blankets to keep you snug and delicious local food.

What you need to bring:    Suitable footwear (wellies/walking boots)    Warm clothing    A spare torch             And a sense of adventure!

Each yurt is fully equipped with everything you need for a memorable and relaxing stay, plus lots of little touches to make it extra special. Our yurts are designed for 2 adults with a handmade double bed, but also have a pull out bed and can accommodate an air bed allowing us to accommodate a family or 4 adults.

Inside the yurt you will find:

A handmade double bed, made up ready for your arrival with luxury cotton linen and feather-down
         duvets and pillows to keep you snug at night.

Fluffy towels

A table and 2 chairs to enjoy a candlelit meal indoors or read a good book.

A wood burning stove to keep your yurt lovely and warm, whatever the weather. Logs are provided.
         This can also be used to boil the kettle and for creating a delicious, slow cooked meal.

A gas camping stove with 2 rings and a grill

Cooking pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, cutlery and glasses

A comfy chair or futon

A BBQ (we sell sustainable charcoal produced in Staffordshire)

Solar fairy lights cloak the interior of the yurt with a romantic glow and lamps and candles are provided.

As energy is so precious, our washroom has been designed to utilise natural resources. Made locally from sustainably sourced timber and insulated with sheeps wool, a photo voltaic panel provides subtle lighting and water is heated by a solar thermal panel. There are two washrooms to service our three yurts, each with a shower, sink, mirror and dressing area.

Outside the washroom is a sink area, with a hot water supply for any washing up you may have. There is also a bin and recycling point.

PLEASE NOTE - Our yurt holidays have been designed for people looking to get away from it all and experience something different. Our yurts do not have an electricity supply. Electricity is available for charging mobile phones and cameras within the Washroom Area.
